Radharc na Farraige Community Initiative Thrives

Radharc na Farraige came up with a great community initiative that addressed some concerns that they had all while raising money for a local charity.

Residents organised for speed figurines to be made to remind people to slow their speed when they enter the estates and one very talented young man made up fabulous bird houses.

They organised a coffee afternoon in a local coffee shop the Jailers Rest and raffled off an array of hampers and prizes.

One resident Theresa baked a chocolate fudge that was the hot prize of the evening. The group raised over an admirable €300 to Wicklow Cancer Support who provide an array of holistic support to families in Wicklow. It was a charity close to many people’s hearts.
